A yellow clinkered prefabricated house built in 1990, in a district of family homes, sumptuous gardens and an almost village-like character.
Turning point
Dismantling the ceiling slab and repositioning partition walls turned an ordinary entrance into a bright vestibule. Retrofitted skylights pulled daylight into rooms that had not seen direct sun in three decades.

Result
An elegant black facade set against box windows made of larch, which also serve as seating. Inside, a rhythm of dark bays and bright surfaces. A 1990 structure carried into a 2020s home without losing its spine.
