Les Beaux Pastels, apartment in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg, dining room with vintage cabinet and rocking chair
Project vi. · Residential

Les Beaux Pastels.

Location Berlin Prenzlauer Berg · Germany
Type Residential Apartment

A celebration of French vintage,
delicate pastels, and a love for music.

Starting point

Two formerly separate apartments at Kollwitzplatz and an owner with three inclinations: French vintage furnishings, delicate colour schemes and an exceptional passion for music.

Living room overview with pastel tones

Turning point

The newly fitted kitchen became the junction. Its two enlarged openings create a long spatial axis, an unobstructed view from the living room through the kitchen into the dining room.

Entrance hall with crystal chandelier and view into the living room
Room with upright piano and rattan chair, looking along the enfilade
Sitting corner with mint velvet armchair, pouf and palm

"An expansive open character results in an unobstructed view from the living room through the kitchen into the dining area, allowing the different color palettes of each room to be seen simultaneously."

Result

Each room holds its own pastel signature, a soft yellow, a powdery pink, a celadon green that catches the morning light. A piano shares the living room with a tufted green chair, a guitar leans next to French vintage furniture.

Nursery with a vintage doll's pram, pink sofa and floral wallpaper
Bathroom with clawfoot tub, oval mirror and sheer curtains

Client review

“They quickly grasped my taste, found the perfect products and arranged appointments.”
