A chic mélange of French folklore
and Parisian elegance.
Starting point
K°211, better known as Brasserie Le Paris, in the Maison de France on Kurfürstendamm, alongside the Cinema Paris and the Institut Français. Part of the French initiative for intellectual exchange since 1950.
Turning point
Rather than quoting, CARLO Design travelled to Northern France to find out what an authentic brasserie feels like.
"Bold colors of bordeaux, petrol and aubergine combined with lush, velvety fabrics and stylish brass fixtures, many exceptional and delicate layers create a subtle, seductive, sophisticated atmosphere."
Result
Bordeaux, petrol and aubergine, lush velvet fabrics, brass fixtures. ZAHNA porcelain stoneware tiles and custom-crafted countertops based on historical ideals, joined by bespoke lighting from Marie Martin. A piece of Parisian food culture in the middle of Berlin.
"Tell us about your home, your timeline, what you are hoping for. We will listen, then come back with a concept and a realistic cost estimate, before you commit to anything."
