A kitchen on Mallorca costs more than a comparable one in Germany or the UK. International owners often underestimate how much shipping, logistics and the island’s specialist trades add. At the same time, Mallorca has very good joineries that build kitchens to measure. If you plan with realistic figures, you avoid the two most common problems: disappointment and a blown budget.

All figures below are 2026 ranges from our kitchen planning on Mallorca.

The three price segments at a glance

Entry segment: 20,000 to 30,000 €

In this range you get a solid, planned kitchen with standard dimensions, laminate or lacquered fronts, a quartz composite worktop and mid-range appliances from Bosch, AEG or Siemens. In our experience, good configurations on Mallorca start about 20 to 30 percent above comparable prices in Germany, because materials and delivery cost more.

Be sceptical of offers under 20,000 € on the island. Kitchens that cheap are usually not built for the climate here: high humidity, salt in the air and strong temperature swings.

Mid-range: 30,000 to 60,000 €

From this range, made-to-measure starts to make sense. Typical are real wood fronts or high-quality lacquer, worktops in natural stone or Dekton, and Miele or Gaggenau appliances from their entry ranges. Joineries from the island’s interior work at this price to a standard of craftsmanship you will not find in mass production.

In this class it is worth spending on the inside of the units: good hinges from Blum or Hettich, soft-close pull-outs and sturdy drawer dividers. You use them every day.

Premium and design kitchens: 60,000 € to 150,000 €+

Here you are looking at brands like bulthaup (entry from around 30,000 €, higher configurations from 60,000 €), SieMatic, Poggenpohl or Boffi. On Mallorca, add import costs and longer delivery times. A fully configured bulthaup b3 with a natural stone worktop, Gaggenau appliances and an island realistically costs 80,000 to 120,000 €.

A top-end joinery on the island is a real alternative. The quality is comparable, the kitchen is often more individual, and complaints or re-orders are dealt with locally.

On Mallorca, what matters most in a kitchen is whether the fronts, worktop and hardware cope with humidity, salty air and heat, and whether the layout suits the way you live.

What makes up the price

Carcasses and fronts account for about 30 to 40 percent of the total price, electrical appliances another 25 to 35 percent, the worktop 10 to 20 percent. The rest is divided among installation, connections, small adjustments and lighting.

On Mallorca there are two extra items that hardly matter in Germany: transport and a surcharge for the climate. Imported design kitchens arrive by ship, and natural stone or solid wood needs special treatment to last in the Mediterranean climate.

Where you can save

On the fronts: good-quality laminate from a local joinery lasts well and looks good, at a fraction of the cost of solid wood. On the appliances: entry models from premium brands are often a better choice than mid-range ones, because the warranty and service are better. On the worktop: without expert knowledge, Dekton and quartz composite are now hard to tell apart from natural stone.

Where you should not save

On the internal fittings and hinges. You use a kitchen every day, and if the pull-outs jam after three years or the hinges squeak, it will annoy you every day. The second is planning. No material makes up for a badly laid-out kitchen.

What budget to plan for

For a planned, good-quality kitchen on Mallorca, a realistic figure is 30,000 to 60,000 € for a mid-sized L or U shape with mid-range appliances and made-to-measure elements. For an open-plan kitchen with an island, budget 50,000 to 100,000 €. Those are the ranges where our clients are still happy with their kitchens years later.
